Description
ENOLOGY: Harvest date: Harvested in the second week of September, with bunch thinning. Fermented in stainless steel vats with whole bunches (carbonic maceration). Aging: Aged for 9 months in used French oak barrels.
TASTING NOTES: Baga needs no introduction; it's our favorite grape variety. This Baga from the Douro presents notes of dried leaves, autumn, and wild fruit. Plenty of earthy and mushroom notes. It has well-integrated tannins and very good acidity. An intense and long finish for a young Baga.
