With a golden amber color, denoting careful aging in wood, it presents an intense aroma with notes of candied fruit, spices, and dried fruit. On the palate, it is a delicate and smooth wine, full of intensity and with an elegant and velvety finish.
Winemaking:
The grapes are harvested manually and vinified in the traditional way for Port wine. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and is interrupted by the addition of wine brandy. The best wines, with the greatest aging potential, are then selected and placed in very old oak barrels after their first winter. They remain in wood for several years, gaining harmony and improving their bouquet. Later, the winemaking team chooses the wines that will form the final blend, using wines between 15 and 30 years old.
