Description
Viticulture: Produced exclusively from the most intensely dark of red grapes, Alicante Bouschet, originating from the Carrapetos vineyard – 25 years old at harvest time – in well-drained alluvial soils. Since 2010, yields from this plot have reached a meager 4.03 t/Ha, thus contributing to an extraordinary concentration.
The year 2015: 2015 is the first in a sequence of drought years with insignificant winter precipitation, but, except for the heat in June and July were flawless growing seasons. The harvest conditions were near perfect.
Tasting notes: Complex black fruit, spices and dark chocolate with nuts. Its warm notes of cocoa, tobacco and black fruit are finely balanced with fresh notes of mint and eucalyptus.
