Description
The grapes are harvested by hand in September in 20 kg boxes. In the cellar, before being crushed, they spend 12 hours in a cold room at 10ºC. After being destemmed, the grapes ferment at 25ºC in cement vats with indigenous yeasts. During aging, no racking is carried out, trying to respect the character of the grapes as much as possible. This wine is made from a portion of Meda (Douro Superior) at 600 meters of altitude facing north in transitional soils from schist to granite. Internship for 9 months in cement vats.
