Description
VINIFICATION

The grapes were harvested on the 17th of September, by hand, and after harvesting, they were transported in 25kg boxes. During reception at the winery, the grapes were carefully selected and sent by gravity to a stainless steel vat, where alcoholic fermentation took place. The aging period, as well as the malolactic fermentation, took place in French oak barrels of 228 liters for a period of 22 months. The wine was bottled in August 2012.

TEST RESULTS

With a very concentrated ruby color, Omlet 2010 shows a complex and very noble aroma. Wild fruit notes, some leather and spices are fully integrated with the mineral character. With a classic outline, with several layers, it is very concentrated in the mouth, deep, with very silky and delicate tannins. Voluminous and structured, it is balanced by minerality, accentuated by the character of the old vines and by a good acidity. Complex, rich and very long finish. A guarding wine, which will greatly benefit from aging in the bottle.
