| Side Dishes | This Port wine is an excellent aperitif. Serve it on the rocks or enjoy it as a cocktail, with tonic water, ice, and lemon in a tall glass. |
It has a light pink hue with violet tones, and a delicate bouquet of tropical fruits and exotic woods. On the palate it is quite balanced and fresh, with a taste of tropical fruits and a long, elegant finish.

Winemaking:
It is created following the traditional winemaking method used for rosé wines. The hand-picked red grapes are destemmed, crushed, and pressed immediately to avoid prolonged contact with the skins where the color is concentrated, resulting in a pinkish-colored must. This is followed by gentle decantation to separate larger particles and clarify the must before cold fermentation. As with any other Port wine, fermentation is interrupted by the addition of grape brandy or schnapps, resulting in a fortified wine. The wine remains in Douro cellars during the winter, after which it is transferred to the Vila Nova de Gaia cellars, where it evolves in stainless steel tanks to maintain its initial freshness and prevent excessive oxidation. Carefully monitored and tasted, the wine evolves to its ideal point of maturity, with the final wine being cold-stabilized before bottling.
