Papa Figos Branco

Ferreirinha house Papa Figs White 2023 has a bright shade with greenish nuances. Its aroma is intense, highlighting tropical fruits such as pineapple and passion fruit, white fruits and mineral notes. It has good volume, live and well integrated acidity, fruity notes with emphasis on tropical fruits and some minerality. Its end is extremely harmonious and persistent.

Vinification:
Selected castes in the high areas of the Superior Douro Sub-region have been specially chosen for this wine. In these areas, good maturation is achieved, maintaining the desired freshness and acidity. Once carefully developed, the grapes are pressed and the free flow must is separated from other presses. The decantation at low temperature with strict oenological control is followed. Once the desired clearing is obtained, alcoholic fermentation begins the controlled temperature between 16ºC and 18ºC. At this temperature, the fermentation takes about 20 days.
