Description
Winemaking:
The harvest took place in early September. The grapes were transported in 22kg boxes to the winery. They were kept in a cold room for 12 hours before being pressed in a vertical press. Natural fermentation with indigenous yeasts took place for the entire batch in used 600L barrels. The wine was aged for 6 months in wood on fine lees.
Exam grade:
Bright yellow in color, it presents notes of apricot and lime in the aroma; an intense palate where the wood appears subtly. A very intense wine that calls for food. A great Douro reserve.
