Vinification:
A port made only in very exceptional years. Aging in oak barrels to mature, it is bottled, without any filtration, between the second and third year after the vintage. Vintage port wines mature in bottle for many years and gradually reach the striking style of a great wine. The grapes are harvested manually and transported in 30 kg trays. Controlled fermentation with prolonged maceration, interrupted by added wine brandy. He matures in wood, strictly controlled with successive evidence until IVDP approval.
TEST NOTES:
Dark blue, but very mature. Coffee and cocoa on the nose. Average body. Sweet. Elegant still with some tannin but quite mature. It is not a long, but attractive ending.
