Pontual Wines has 150 hectares of vineyards, located in Alandroal, subdivided by grape varieties. The soils, essentially brown schist, offer ideal rooting conditions for vines.
Pontual wines express the terroir where they are born. They stand out for the intensity of their color, striking aromas and concentrated and balanced flavor, using grape varieties that have favorable conditions in Alentejo to express their full potential.
TASTING NOTES
The aroma reveals dried fruits surrounded by fine woody characteristics, in the mouth it has a pleasant sensation of volume with a slight vanilla, with a fresh and long finish.
VINIFICATION
Total destemming, cold decantation, below 10ºC, followed by alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks and barrels, at a controlled temperature between 13ºC and 15ºC.
Aging : In oak vats and barrels, sur lie fine, with specific batonnage.
