Pormenor Trilho Tinto

Vinification:
Trilho em Pormenor is a red wine produced from indigenous varieties of 80-year-old vines, mainly Touriga Franca and Tinta Barroca from the Douro region. After treading the grapes in granite stone presses, the wine underwent a long period of maceration. The wine fermented at controlled temperatures in granite tanks. The wine aged for 23 months in used French oak barrels before being stabilized and bottled.

Trilho em Pormenor can be characterized by a Douro red wine full of freshness and minerality, together with extraordinary aromas of ripe dark fruits wrapped in balsamic aromas. It is dominated by black fruit flavors from the forest and austere and dense tannins, tempered by good wood notes and very elegant acidity.
