Vidigal Wines is a family-owned company that produces still and fortified wines, located in the Leiria region of central Portugal.
Founded at the beginning of the 20th century, the company had several owners until, in the 1990s, the current Director, António Mendes Lopes, took over management. Since then, Vidigal has undergone major changes and technological advancements, allowing it to produce around 3 million bottles per year. With an export rate of approximately 90%, Vidigal is one of the most internationalized wine companies in Portugal, selling around 40 wines in more than 30 countries.
