Aroma
The wine envelops the nose in a superb and intoxicating way with opulent and seductive aromas. A wave of rum and raisins, molasses and caramel is overlaid by delicate notes of coffee beans, sultanas, sweet tobacco, combined with the elegance of nuts and the subtle aroma of oak.
Flavor
On the palate, nuances of nutmeg, gingerbread, anise, and quince emerge, followed by notes of black pepper, fig pudding, plum, and apricot. The finish is immensely long, finely structured, and wonderfully balanced.
