Márcio Lopes was born in Porto in 1983, and his love for rural life grew up in the company of his grandparents, who always worked in agriculture. After graduating with a degree in Agronomic Engineering in 2006, he began working with Anselmo Mendes in Melgaço in 2005. Then, in 2008, he was in Australia, where he participated in two grape harvests, in Rutherglen and on Tasmania Island. In 2010, he started two personal projects, Pequenos Rebentos and Proibido. In 2017, he embraced a new project in Ribeira Sacra, Spain.
