In the winemaking process, Quintas de Melgaço follows traditional oenological methods and practices, considered most suitable for the sub-region, which contribute to extracting all the quality from the grapes that arrive at the winery. It is at this stage that Quintas de Melgaço carefully imprints its own identity on the wines it produces. Prior to bottling, specialist technicians ensure that the wine has the correct chemical composition, is properly clear, and exhibits qualities in tasting. For certification, the wine is submitted to the laboratory of the Vinho Verde Wine Region Commission, which, after approval, issues the guarantee seals. There is great concern for the quality of the bottle and the cork, so that the wine evolves well in the bottle and behaves well in the glass.
