Bright ruby color. Evident fruit, some notes of heat and subtle spices. On the palate it shows good structure, freshness, smooth tannins and great harmony. It is flavorful and juicy, with a medium finish, but persistent.
Winemaking:
Produced from the Tinta Roriz and Tinta Amarela grape varieties, Cota 600 was aged in new 500-liter French oak barrels. It is proof of the "exceptional quality" of wines that originate from high-altitude vineyards, in this case, at altitude 600, on the Alijó plateau.
