Aromas of red fruits combined with hints of wood and spices. On the palate, the red fruit flavors are intensified and combined with smooth tannins; it has a fresh, somewhat mineral, elegant and very complex finish.
Winemaking:
The grape varieties chosen for the estate, a Cabernet Sauvignon and a Merlot, benefit from natural conditions that allow for slow and balanced ripening. Primary fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature (25°C), followed by a three-week period of 'cuvaison' (post-fermentation skin maceration). After careful selection, and after numerous tastings and tests, the final blend was produced and aged for 11 months in new French oak barrels.
