Quinta da Calçada Reserva Brut Imperial

Vineyards situated at the foot of the Serra do Marão mountain range, with a strong maritime influence, the Alvarinho and Loureiro grapes were gently pressed. The must was fermented in French oak barrels and the wine aged there for one year. Production, following the classic method, took place in our winery at a controlled temperature, followed by one year of bottle aging. Disgorgement and a final two months of bottle aging were then carried out. This sparkling wine presents a bright, citrine yellow color with slight golden nuances. An elegant and persistent aroma, with light notes of brioche and dried fruit enveloped by the high salinity and minerality of the region. Good volume on the palate, slightly toasted acidity, complex and crisp, resulting in a persistent and long finish.
