Description
A sweet and warm aroma, where blackberry, rock rose, and floral notes balance with hints of oak. On the palate, the acidity and the ripe, full-bodied tannins make this a true Douro wine with a long finish.
Winemaking: 100% hand-harvested grapes in tanks with an average capacity of 800 kg. The grapes are crushed and destemmed; cold maceration for 48 hours followed by alcoholic fermentation for 15 days, then malolactic fermentation which takes place at a controlled temperature of 18ºC for 15 days. Part of the wine ages for 18 months in second and third American oak barrels.
