Description

Quinta da Devesa vineyards are managed using sustainable agriculture practices, in accordance with the Integrated Production Guidelines for Sustainable Agriculture, certified by an independent organization, recognized by the Portuguese State.

Careful selection of the best grapes, with manual vintage. Step on granite mills. Default and crushing with 100% of the deceived grapes. After the temperature reaches the 20/22º, the fermentation is started, which is maintained the temperature controlled always between 22 and 25º, for 5 to 7 days. Small duration reassembly every 3 hours. Delestage and reassembly with aeration. Post-fermentation maceration for 1 to 2 days. 12 -month internship in new French oak barrels and a minimum of 12 months in bottle internship.

TEST NOTES:Touriga Nacional is the noblest caste of Douro. Intense and concentrated, with a refined tannin structure, Touriga Nacional is distinguished by its delicacy. It is the result of a strict selection of the best installments of Quinta da Devesa. The aroma reveals balsamic notes of oak wood, very mature and violet red fruits. In the mouth it proves to be concentrated, with long and fresh ending. As a natural product, wine is subject to deposit with age. Carefully serve
