Quinta da Ferradosa Red Wine

 Quinta da Ferradosa Douro red is the result of such a diverse vineyard in caste as in soils. This creates a very concentrated wine on the nose and mouth reveals red fruits such as strawberries and raspberries coupled with floral notes. The tannins are present, and bring to wine an incredible structure. The wine is then balanced by a marked freshness, making this Quinta da Ferradosa a very elegant wine.

Vinification:
All the wine was vinified in the fifth Valley D. Maria. All grapes were stepped on traditional granite mills before fermenting in stainless steel tanks (5000 kg). Then we transfer the wines resulting in new French Allier oak barrels of 225 and 300 liters of various tanoaries (Taransaud, Second Moreau, Nadalié and François Fréres), where they undergo malo -fermentation. All wines are carefully aged for 15 months in barrels (75% new and 25% of a one -year French oak), keeping the different fermentations completely separated to the final capacity, about a month before the traffic jam.
