Quinta da Pessegueiro Tinta da Barca Alicante Bouschet Red

Ruby in color, this wine presents notes of sloe compote, plum, cedar oil, and some seaweed. On the palate, it has a vibrant acidity with some rocky and vegetal notes. Two varieties that complement each other perfectly.

Winemaking:
colheita took place in September. The grapes were transported in 22kg boxes to the winery. They were kept in a cold chamber for 12 hours and then gravity-fed to the lagar (wine press), where fermentation was completed. After this process, the wine was placed in oval cement vats with a capacity of 1700L, where malolactic fermentation would occur. The aging process lasted for 12 months in these same oval cement vats until the wine was bottled in June.
