Description
Winemaking: The grapes were transported in 22 kg boxes to the winery. They were kept in a cold storage chamber for 12 hours, after which they were gravity-fed into the lagares (traditional wine presses) where fermentation took place. The wine then aged for 12 months in 225L barrels and 600L casks of French, Austrian, and German oak.
Exam Notes: Bright ruby in color with aromas of tea, chocolate, and spices. On the palate, it is very fresh, with notes of forest and well-dried tannins. It finishes with great persistence.
