Description
Intense red color, very characteristic of the grape variety. Deep and rich aroma, with hints of wild berries, forest floor, field herbs, various spices, and a light smokiness from the barrel. Full of juicy fruit, with a full body encompassing solid tannins and excellent acidity, giving it great freshness and persistence.
Winemaking:
Total destemming and prolonged, yet gentle, skin maceration. Fermented in a mechanical lagar at 26ºC for 10 days. Aged for 16 months in new 500-liter French oak barrels. With all the balance to be enjoyed young, it will evolve very well in the bottle for at least 10 years.
