Description
This deep ruby-colored red wine has a great aromatic purity, with fresh notes of forest fruits balanced by floral notes of violet. On the palate, it is a wine full of personality, in an elegant and balanced style, where the typical fruitiness of the Douro Superior combines with the freshness of the altitude.
Winemaking:
Hand-picked grapes in small 40L boxes. Received at our winery, selected, fully destemmed and immediately crushed. Fermented in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 24°C. Part of the batch aged in used French oak barrels for 6 months to add complexity, followed by aging in stainless steel to preserve the primary aromas.
