Quinta da Terrincha has a long history dating back to the early 14th century, when it was part of the properties of King D. Afonso V.
Winemaking and Aging:
Maturation control to obtain the best balance between intensity and freshness. Hand-picked grapes into small 40L boxes. Reception in our cellar with choice, total disengage and crushing immediately. Fermentation with temperature control at around 16°C, using very gentle crushing and pressing processes under an inert atmosphere. Part of the batch fermented in French and American oak barrels, aged for 9 months with stirring of fine lees - “batonnâge”.
Test and Gastronomy:
White wine with a straw yellow color, intense and of great aromatic complexity, with a citrus fruity and mineral notes, balanced by the aging in French and American barrels, which added nuances of vanilla and honey. In the mouth it has good creaminess balanced by a very present acidity, with great persistence.
