Description
The White House vineyard is one of the oldest in Quinta da Terrincha, planted in transitional soil between shale and granite with varieties in 'field blend' (vine-mixed varieties) that give it great aromatic complexity.
Hand-picked grapes into small 40L boxes. Reception in our cellar with choice, total disengage and crushing immediately. Fermented in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 24 °C. We look in this wine for the freshness and acidity that would guarantee maximum aging potential. 2017 vintage wine with long stage and final maturation in bottle in our basement with temperature and humidity control.
Red wine of garnet color, result of the long stage. Great aromatic complexity with notes of spices balanced by a minty touch of green and ginger, in a balanced and very elegant set. Mouth still very fresh taking into account the long stage, silky with fine tannins, in a long and persistent finish. Good aging potential.
