Description
After dedicating about 50 years of his life to duirinese winemaker, José António Castro Ramos Pinto Rosas, decided to realize the dream of realizing the “perfect fifth” for the production of wines from Porto and Douro. After a long and detailed study of the Douro Demarcated Region and with the help of topographic letters, José Rosas found a property with about 20 hectares, in the Superior Douro near Vila Nova de Foz Côa, which, by its characteristics, thought he had the conditions ideal for producing superior quality wines. Today is Jorge Rosas, son of José Rosas and great -grandson of Adriano Ramos Pinto, founder of the homonymous house, which continues this legacy.
Aroma:Great fruit concentration, remembering black plums and blackberries, as well as floral notes, chocolate and spices on the nose.
Flavor:In the mouth it is balanced, fruity, with firm tannins that give an irresistible texture to wine.
