Description
Deep, consistent red color. Intense aroma of black fruits, such as currant, along with floral, balsamic, and spicy aromas typical of oak aging. Full-bodied with robust yet polished tannins, with a marked acidity and freshness where black fruit and chocolate stand out. It is a full-bodied, concentrated, and complex wine with great aging potential. Balanced, expressive, long, and persistent.
Winemaking:
After destemming, the grapes undergo cold maceration for 2 days in granite lagares (traditional stone troughs), before entering alcoholic fermentation with a long and gentle maceration with delestage, in order to extract the maximum potential from these magnificent grape varieties. Fermentation finishes in French oak barrels where the wine also ages for 12 months.
