Description
The brand concept:
Quinta das Bágeiras is the brand for all of Mario Sérgio Alves Nuno's products and reflects the quality and identity of everything that is produced.
With minimalist oenology, the wines are produced as naturally as possible and using traditional methods, in order to express the terroir where they were developed. These are wines with great longevity, whether red, white or sparkling.

All harvests are manual, the reds are made in wine presses without added yeast and the sparkling wines are only Bruto Natural.
Very balanced, austere and serious aroma, discreet hints of raspberry and grapefruit. Very firm in the mouth, full-bodied. Dry and gastronomic. Wine produced at Quinta das Bageiras in Sangalhos in Bairrada, Portugal.
Special care is taken to harvest grapes that have the correct balance between acidity and alcohol. The base wine is usually sparkling in March of the following year and, in the case of Reserva, it is aged for 12 months in the cellar before disgorgement.
This is a traditional method sparkling wine, fermented in the bottle, with the remuage done by hand in wooden pupitres. Being a natural brut, there is no added sugar in the expedition liqueur.
PROOF NOTES
Quinta das Bageiras Bruto Natural White is a sparkling wine made from the Maria Gomes, Bical and Baga grape varieties. No added sugar, like all the producer's sparkling wines. In line with previous editions, but increasingly refined, with light fruit very well integrated into the bakery notes and even austere vegetal notes. Lots of bite and power in the mouth, it fills the mouth, finishes very dry and gastronomic.
