Intense purple color, revealing all its youth. The wine displays a magnificent bouquet of ripe fruit, floral nuances and rockrose, while on the palate it reveals itself as firm, mineral and with great definition. However, it shows itself to be elegant and rich in smooth tannins, with a long and persistent finish.

Winemaking:
This Vintage Port from Quinta das Carvalhas is produced from a selection of old vine plots where a truly surgical harvest is carried out, picking by hand only the grapes that are at the desired levels of ripeness. Through on-site tasting, only perfectly ripe grapes are harvested, an operation repeated throughout the harvest period. Once harvested, they are transported to the winery in small boxes, beginning the ancestral process of foot treading in traditional granite lagares, which, due to their shape, allow perfect contact between the must and the skins, allowing greater extraction. Fermentation is interrupted by the addition of grape brandy, followed by aging in oak vats for a period of 2 years.
