Quinta de Lemos Dona Paulette 75 Year Old White
Description

The Encruzado grape variety is exclusive to the Dão region, is quite balanced, aromatic, and gives the wines great longevity. The plants grow on slopes situated between 350 and 400 meters of altitude. The vineyard is managed within an integrated protection program, with the application of herbicides prohibited. Weed control is carried out through soil tillage. The harvest is done manually, when the grapes reach their optimal point of ripeness, which is in the second half of September. The colheita is done in small 10kg boxes.

Produced in stainless steel at 13ºC, with two-thirds of the fermentation completed in new French oak barrels, where it aged for 15 months.
Production: 3,000 bottles

Tasting notes : Complex aroma, mineral, white-fleshed fruits, peach, lemon peel and some varnish. Structured, balanced, full-bodied and a very refreshing finish.
