Quinta de Lemos Dona Georgina Tinto 2014

Touriga Nacional, the predominant grape variety in our blend, and Tinta Roriz, which adds complexity, elegance, and structure to the whole, grow on slopes situated between 350 and 400 meters of altitude. The vineyard is managed within an integrated protection program, and the application of herbicides is prohibited. The harvest is done manually when the grapes reach their point of ripeness, typically in the second half of September and the first half of October. The colheita are harvested in small 10 kg boxes.

These wines are obtained after fermentation at a controlled temperature to preserve all their aromatic elegance, in wooden vats and stainless steel tanks for 20 days. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels and subsequent aging for 18 months to enhance its structure and complexity.
