Description
Vinification:
Quinta de Valbom Reserve is a red wine, produced from native paints such as Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Roriz ink, Miuda Paint, Yellow Paint, Baroque Paint and Dog Dog Dog region. After a long 14 -day cold maceration, wine is fermented in granitic stone mills at controlled temperatures. Then the wine was transferred to French oak barrels, where it remained for 18 months before being bottled. The wine matured for another 18 months in the bottle in the winery at a controlled temperature.
TEST NOTES:
Quinta de Valbom Reserve is a red wine from the Douro Winery region that features lush notes of macerated black fruits, extremely elegant, polished profile and powerful tannins. It is marked by the huge aromatic bouquet, with the predominance of plums, spine and currants, fragrances of violets and very balanced acidity.
Dark deep ruby, nose of pure red and black fruits with notes of violets and smoke. It seems a little closed away. Bodied, dense and fresh taste, solid structure, red berries, cassis, fresh spices with balsamic notes. Persistent final. Contains sulfites.
