Quinta de Ventozelo Touriga Franca

It can be considered a dry viticultural year in the Douro. A year with a dry winter and spring, with high precipitation during the month of April only, and punctual during the harvest period. Although the vines show a need for water to ensure maturation, the more moderate temperatures in the summer contributed to gradual maturation. The harvest provided musts with an excellent balance between sugar and acidity, very interesting from a phenolic point of view. Touriga Franca demonstrates an excellent performance in the terroir of this parcel, expressing all
its rusticity and freshness. Intense garnet color, in the aroma notes of red fruit stand out.
(pomegranate), with a vegetal touch. Reveals admirable volume in the mouth. The tannins appear firm,
slightly austere, enveloped in freshness, providing a persistent aftertaste.
