This can be considered a dry viticultural year in the Douro. A year with a dry winter and spring, with high rainfall occurring only during the month of April, and sporadically during the harvest period. Although the vines showed a need for water to ensure ripening, the more moderate summer temperatures contributed to gradual ripening. The colheita yielded musts with an excellent balance between sugar and acidity, very interesting from a phenolic point of view. Grapes from a single plot, with an exclusive vine of the Touriga Nacional variety.
