Description
This wine originates from a select plot of land at Quinta do Ameal. It demonstrates the potential of the Loureiro grape variety for producing wines with character, complexity, and aging potential. We produce approximately 5,200 bottles.
VINIFICATION / AGING
Manual harvesting, pneumatic pressing of whole grapes. Cold settling of the must for 48 hours. In contact with the lees for approximately 7 months. 75% of the batch in stainless steel tanks and the remainder in a concrete egg.
COLOR: Light citrine.
AROMA: A unique and complex aroma dominated by citrus fruits, characteristic of the Loureiro grape variety.
PALATE: Dominated by a vibrant acidity with a long and persistent finish. Great aging potential is expected.
