Quinta do Cachão Vintage Port 1966
Description

Tawny yellow color. Caramel and nuts on the nose. Medium body. Mature and aged flavor. Elegant and complex with an attractive and good finish.

Winemaking:
Wine fermented with partial destemming at a controlled temperature (24-28ºC) when the must reaches the desired sweetness level, fermentation is stopped by the addition of brandy (77%), subsequently aged in oak, and bottled between the 2nd and 3rd year after approval.

Storage and serving tips:
Serve at cellar temperature (15/17°). Decanting is recommended to separate the sediment. This cellar wine matures over the years and develops a complex variety of aromas. You can also enjoy it young to savor the intensity of its fruit. It is best drunk 4 to 40 years after bottling. Drink within 48 hours of opening.
