Description
Quinta do Gradil Reserva red wine is produced with Syrah, Touriga Nacional and Alicante Bouschet grapes, presenting complex aromas of truffles, ripe forest fruits and balsamic notes. On the palate, it reveals silky and balanced tannins, Atlantic freshness and a long, persistent finish.
Quinta do Gradil has been referenced in the history of Portuguese wines since 1492. However, it was only in the 17th century that vineyards and wine became part of the property's economic activity. But it was in the 19th century that one of the most decisive moments occurred, when Dona Maria do Carmo Romeiro da Fonseca inherited Quinta do Gradil from her father, transforming it into a leading agricultural business, focusing on wine production. Many years have passed and Quinta do Gradil continues to be a Portuguese benchmark in the world, now led by Luís Vieira.
