TASTING NOTE
This batch of Tinto Cão enchants with its open ruby color and complex aroma of red cherries, spicy notes and a touch of floral sophistication. The palate is marked by tamed tannins and pronounced acidity, indicating its potential for aging, while complex layers of red fruits and subtle herbs provide a delicious flavor, leading to a polished and long finish.

WINEMAKING
This wine is fermented in spherical cement vats using gentle pumping over and temperature control. Malolactic fermentation is completed in French oak barrels.
AGING
The wine is aged entirely in 225-liter French oak barrels for 12 months, 60% in new barrels and 40% in second-use barrels.
