At the head of a group that, after 50 years, has become a leader in children's fashion, Roger Zannier is today also present in several wine regions around the world, such as the Douro region (Portugal) and Provence (France).
During his frequent visits to Portugal for his textile business, Roger Zannier discovered Quinta do Pessegueiro, and was literally seduced by the property and the Douro region. In 1991, he acquired the land and immediately began planting vines. Thus was born his first and one of his most important investments in the wine sector. As this region is one of the most unlikely places where man has ever attempted to plant vines, it required the foresight and modesty of a captain who respected the land, such as João Nicolau de Almeida, to combine ancestral techniques with the most modern methods of oenology and viticulture.

This red wine was vinified in a traditional lagar (wine press) and aged for 20 months.

Tasting Notes: This ruby-colored wine has an aroma reminiscent of floral and vegetal notes. On the palate, balsamic notes emerge, along with the surprise of spices like black pepper. The wine finishes with great elegance and balance.
