Description
Ruby color. Complex and intense, highlighting ripe black fruit in balance with the spices acquired from aging in oak barrels. Full-bodied and smooth on the palate. This is a wine where tannins are present, but refined and elegant. You seek a balance between concentration and freshness.
Winemaking:
After careful selection in the vineyard and winery, the fermentation of the different grape varieties took place separately in small stainless steel vats, with prolonged maceration, where the grapes were gently foot-trodden. The wine went directly into French oak barrels, of which 40% were new and 60% were second and third year, where malolactic fermentation occurred and the wine aged for nine months.
