Description
Rosa da Mata presents a greenish-yellow color in tasting, a reflection of its aging in wood. On the nose, one finds an exuberant perfume of sweet flowers like white rose, some fruit such as tangerine and lime, and great freshness. Fernão Pires is characterized as a very fragrant grape variety, and this is evident in this wine. On the palate, it gains volume, with an elegant structure.
Winemaking:
Grapes are harvested manually into 20kg boxes to ensure the grapes remain intact and free from oxidation, without tearing of the skin, until pressing at the winery. The wine is only filtered.
