Quinta do Sobral, a family project of Cristina Simões and Jorge Loureiro, is located in the heart of the Dão wine region, in Vila de Santar, a historical heritage site of the region. Here, the tradition of planting vines in poor granitic soils amidst pine forests is maintained, as well as the cultivation of traditional grape varieties that define the wines of this estate, which comprises approximately 15 hectares of vineyards.
Aged for 6 months in French oak barrels. A wine with aromas of red fruit, elegant and balanced body. Velvety and round tannins, subject to sediment and/or crystal formation.
