Description

This wine is a tribute from the great -grandchildren of Comendador Delfim Ferreira, a figure of inspiration present and deserving of continuous tribute. Prepared by the great -grandchildren, with special care from the harvest of the grapes to the oenological process. A mixture of traditional Douro castes was used, with a predominance of Touriga Franca, yellow ink and bastard. With a 12 -month internship in French oak barrels followed by 18 months in bottle, this red denotes concentration and complexity.

Vinification:
The grapes are selected manually, deceived and stepped on foot in granite mills where alcoholic fermentation takes place. Malo-lactic fermentation is made stainless steel, followed by a barrel stage. The lot of this wine is elaborated by the thorough selection of the best barrels. Internship and bottling: 12 months in new French oak barrels. 18 month internship in bottle.
