Near one of the boundaries of Quinta dos Murças, we find steep slopes forming a valley. In this location, mostly facing north and more sheltered from the sun, we can hear the wind whistling when it passes.

Assobio wine originates from vineyards like those found there, from plots with unique characteristics at higher altitudes.

Made from the region's most traditional grape varieties, our Assobios red, white, and rosé wines are fresh and versatile, making them excellent for pairing with food.

COLOR

Citrine yellow.

AROMA

Intense and fresh aroma dominated by citrus fruits, tropical fruits and white-fleshed fruits.

TASTE

On the palate, its acidity stands out, which, together with its volume and texture, gives it a long and refreshing finish.

AGRICULTURE

It was a year marked by a warmer and drier winter than usual and a spring with large temperature and rainfall fluctuations. The beginning of summer was marked by thunderstorms and intense hail that occurred at the end of June and by a cooler and wetter July. In August, temperatures increased, which ended up accelerating ripening. We started harvesting the white grapes on August 23rd, with good acidity and aromatic intensity.

VINIFICATION / AGING

Manual harvesting, sorting table, pneumatic pressing, alcoholic fermentation with controlled temperatures (12º to 14ºC).

In stainless steel vats over fine lees.
