This year was marked by a warmer and drier winter than usual, and spring featured large variations in temperature and rainfall. The beginning of summer was marked by thunderstorms and intense hail at the end of June, while July was cooler and wetter. Temperatures rose in August, which accelerated ripening. We began harvesting the red grapes on August 30th, with good acidity and aromatic intensity.

VINIFICATION / MATURATION

Manual Colheita , sorting table, pneumatic pressing, alcoholic fermentation with controlled temperatures (12º to 14ºC).

On the edge of the Quinta dos Murças estate, we find a valley formed by steep slopes. In this location, mainly facing north and more sheltered from the sun, when the wind blows, we can hear it whistling.

Assobio comes from vineyards like these, from plots with unique characteristics and planted at higher altitudes. Made from the region's most traditional grape varieties, our fresh and versatile Assobio red, white and rosé wines are distinctly gastronomic.

COLOR: Pink, with soft red highlights.

AROMA: Elegant, with red fruits standing out along with some vegetal aromas that give it greater freshness.

PALATE: Delicate, with good acidity and some tannins, it has a fresh and persistent finish.
