Description
This wine originates from the winery's vineyard plot, which is over 25 years old, where Marufo grapes give body to this rustic, smooth wine with a distinct identity.
Hand-harvested into 15 kg boxes. Reception with total destemming and gentle crushing, followed by prolonged maceration. Aged in used French oak barrels and naturally clarified, aided by the biting cold of the Serra da Estrela mountain range.
Tasting Notes : Light ruby color. On the nose, it reveals notes of red fruits, wild herbs, and a slight earthiness. On the palate, it is elegant, with velvety tannins and a pleasant freshness.
