Description
It is a wine of emotion that awakens our senses; delicate citrus aromas combined with white stone fruits support the complex and vibrant, enigmatic aroma; the firmness conferred by its origin in red grapes is remarkable, with a gravity that blends with a compact, fresh and tense body, endlessly precise, as great wines should be.
Winemaking:
The white must was carefully extracted from the red grapes, Tinta Roriz, through a very gentle pressing of the whole berries, fermentation at low temperatures (11-12 ºC), first in stainless steel vats to protect the primary aromas and minerality, finishing 4 weeks later in French oak barrels where it aged for 6 months. This aging reinforces the tension and adds complexity.
