Description

Plot 29, planted with the Touriga Nacional grape variety, is a fundamental piece in the history of Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo, representing the highest expression of terroir. A true benchmark in the Douro, it, together with the century-old vineyard (Plot 21), results in a wine with a very elegant, almost feminine profile, contrasting with an intense structure of succulent tannins of enormous precision. The high-gravity schist texture and purple color reflect the nature of the Touriga Nacional grape variety.

Winemaking:
100% destemmed. Aged for 12 months in new French oak barrels.
